on August 2nd, 2009 after courageously surviving cancer 8
times. Recording his life experiences was inspirational and
changed my life forever."

received this special note from Mike months before he died:
For years I've wanted to somehow record my life stories so that
my children and grandchildren would have a true and better
understanding of who I am (was), and in particular, my 7 year
battle with cancer. My faith in God has carried me through this
ordeal and I am determined to beat cancer so I can be there for
my kids as they grow up, marry and have kids of their own... so
I can offer my knowledge and advice whenever it is needed. In a
perfect world, we'll all live to be 100, but the reality is...
you'll never know when your time is up. I highly recommend taking
advantage of this opportunity to record your life stories. I
found the experience to be
quite profound, a sort of therapy that cannot be explained, and
I'm so glad I did it.
